With the exception of citizens of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives (who follow separate entry procedures), all international visitors are required to obtain a Bhutan visa before entering the country.

To process your visa application, you generally need to provide:
- A clear copy of your passport (valid for at least six months from your arrival date)
- A recent passport-sized photograph (if required)
- Your travel dates
- Flight details (if available)
Step 3: Visa Application Submission
Our team will submit your visa application to the Bhutanese authorities on your behalf after confirming your itinerary and completing the necessary travel arrangements.
Step 4: Visa Approval
Once your application is approved, you will receive an official Visa Clearance Letter. This document allows you to board your flight or enter Bhutan through an approved land border.
Step 5: Arrival in Bhutan
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport or an authorized land entry point, immigration officials will verify your Visa Clearance Letter and passport before issuing your visa for entry into Bhutan.
What is the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)?

Current SDF Rates
The Sustainable Development Fee is subject to change in accordance with the Royal Government of Bhutan’s tourism policies.

- International visitors (most foreign nationals): USD 100 per person, per night.
- Indian nationals: A concessional SDF applies under separate regulations.
Children may be eligible for discounted rates depending on their age and current government policies.
