Kuzuzangpo La,
Bhutan holds a truly special place in my heart.
Over the years, I have been deeply inspired by its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, kind and compassionate people, and its extraordinary commitment to the philosophy of Gross National Happiness. Every visit has strengthened my appreciation for this remarkable Kingdom and the timeless wisdom it offers the world.
My journey to Bhutan began through the privilege of partnering with the Royal Government of Bhutan to co-design and deliver the Leader-as-Coach Certification Program—the first initiative of its kind in the Kingdom.

What started as a professional engagement soon became a deeply personal journey of learning, friendship, and shared purpose.
As CEO of CTI Leadership, USA, I have had the honour of working alongside Bhutanese leaders, educators, government institutions, and organizations to support transformational leadership and personal growth. My aspiration has always been to help individuals lead with authenticity, courage, compassion, and purpose, while learning just as much from Bhutan’s unique values, culture, and way of life.
Beyond leadership coaching, I have been privileged to contribute as a volunteer to meaningful community initiatives across Bhutan. These experiences have strengthened my connection with this extraordinary country and reinforced my belief that the greatest leadership is rooted in service, genuine human connection, and a commitment to creating positive and lasting impact.
For me, Bhutan is far more than a destination—it is a place of learning, inspiration, and lifelong friendships. It is a country where ancient wisdom and modern leadership come together in a way that inspires all who visit.
It is my sincere invitation to leaders from around the world to experience this extraordinary Kingdom, discover its timeless wisdom, connect with its remarkable people, and embark on a transformational leadership journey that will leave a lasting impact on both your professional and personal life.
I look forward to welcoming you to Bhutan and sharing this meaningful journey together.

Gross National Happiness (GNH) is a unique philosophy of development that was introduced by the Kingdom of Bhutan. Unlike most countries that measure progress primarily through economic growth using Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Bhutan believes that true development should focus on the happiness and well-being of its people. GNH emphasizes that economic progress is important, but it should not come at the cost of environmental destruction, cultural loss, or social inequality. This holistic approach has made Bhutan internationally recognized as a country that values the quality of life of its citizens over material wealth alone.
The concept of Gross National Happiness was first introduced in 1972 by His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, who famously stated that “Gross National Happiness is more important than Gross Domestic Product.” At a time when most nations focused solely on increasing income and industrial production, Bhutan chose a different path.
